Sitedesk are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a multi-year contract by GM UTC in Oldham and Willmott Dixon, to help provide young people with a combination of digital construction skills and real world practical experience. Sitedesk is being used to deliver an accredited learning programme that applies pure academic subjects to the latest construction industry practices including BIM (Building Information Modelling), through a project based learning approach.

The students are using industry leading design tools such as Autodesk Revit in conjunction with Sitedesk who are providing the Common Data Environment that allows paperless design and construction processes from initial data capture and feasibility studies right through to design for construction and project handover to be developed, delivered and even accredited digitally within the Sitedesk environment. We are delighted that we have been chosen to help address the massive skills shortages within the industry as well as help provide future employees with digital construction skills.
